The drive from Belize International Airport to Hopkins Village is a scenic route, sightseeing from beginning to the end of your journey. This drive will take you on three major highways in Belize.
First you will head on the George Price Highway formally known as Western Highway, drive through the Savanna’s of Belize is filled with palmetto groves and pine vegetation. George Price highway connects Belize City and Belmopan City, Cayo District.
When arriving in Belmopan City you'll then get on the Hummingbird Highway. This is the most scenic highway in Belize, drive through the rain forest Mayan mountains. The Hummingbird highway connects Belmopan City and Dangriga Town, Stann Creek District. Make a right turn at 6 miles on the Hummingbird Highway to get on the Southern Highway.
Lastly head on the Southern Highway, the southern highway runs along the coast of Belize, enjoy the mountain view on the west side on this highway, at 16 miles Southern Highway make a left turn on to Hopkins Road, from here its 4 miles drive to Hopkins Village. Southern Highway connects Dangriga Town and Punta Gorda Town, Toledo.
