Permit Alley Fly Fishing Trips
About Our Fly Fishing Tour from Hopkins
Fly Fish for Permit, Tarpon, and Bonefish at one of the world’s finest fisheries in southern Belize. Our Fly fishing tour starts with a 30-45 minutes boat ride from Hopkins Village to the famous Permit Alley, home to the longest pancake flats, and islands (cayes) of Southern Belize Barrier Reef. There you will be on the lookout for tailing Permit, schools of cruising Bonefish, and pods of rolling tarpon as you hunt these incredible sportfish with a fly rod in hand!
Bonefishing in Belize
This is a perfect fishing trip for beginner anglers, the schools of bonefish are usually next to the boat which makes for an easy cast, average bonefish weight is 2 - 5 pounds. These fish tend to be in large schools, the most commonplace to see bonefish is near the island (caye) or on selected reef flats.
Grand Slam Fishing
Experienced anglers have the option to try out our grand slam fishing, fly fishing for tailing permit, bonefish, and tarpon on a full-day fishing trip.
